WebJan 19, 2016 · 1979 Camaro 350/4-speed. Hello all, I have an Edelbrock 1405 600cfm carb on my 350 engine. The carb was on the engine when I got the car but it's only a couple of years old. At idle the exhaust smelled rich. I found the fuel in the bowls was being heated to the point that it was boiling over and down the throat of the carb.
