The slide and barrel are 1" shorter than the standard Hi-Power at 3.88". Girsan calls it the MC P35 PI. As I understand it the "PI" stands for Private Investigator". Let me preface this by saying I do own an original FM Detective Model. These were made back in the early 90s by FM Argentina.
